A. Meal Recipients
By accessing our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate household size information when required for USDA programs
- Not resell or redistribute meals provided
- Follow all posted health/safety guidelines at distribution sites
B. Volunteers
All volunteers must:
- Complete ServSafe Food Handler certification (provided)
- Submit to background checks for positions involving:
• Financial handling
• Direct service to vulnerable populations
• Facility access outside public hours - Report any health symptoms that may compromise food safety
C. Donors
Contributions are governed by:
- IRS Publication 526 for tax deductions
- Our Gift Acceptance Policy (available upon request)
- State charitable solicitation regulations
Section 2: Intellectual Property
- All educational materials are licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 4.0
- Kitchen designs and operational manuals are proprietary
- Recipe submissions become organizational property
Section 3: Liability Provisions
A. Food Service
- We cannot guarantee allergen-free environments
- Meal recipients assume responsibility for:
• Checking ingredients lists
• Proper food storage/reheating
• Allergic reactions
B. Facility Use
- Waiver required for:
• Kitchen equipment operation
• After-hours access
• Special events
C. Third-Party Resources
We disclaim responsibility for:
- Linked external websites
- Partner organization practices
- Government benefit eligibility changes
